Fix Voxt permissions on Mac

Voxt needs Microphone access to hear you and Accessibility access to insert text at the cursor—plus related focus/app context for App Branch.

Steps

1.Enable Microphone
Open System Settings → Privacy & Security → Microphone, then turn Voxt on. Speak a short test phrase after enabling so capture is not silent.
2.Enable Accessibility
Open System Settings → Privacy & Security → Accessibility, then turn Voxt on. If Voxt is missing, click +, add it from Applications, and enable it. This is what lets Voxt paste into the focused field.
3.Toggle off and on if stuck
If Voxt hears you but never pastes, toggle Accessibility off, quit Voxt, turn Accessibility back on, and relaunch. Repeat for Microphone if capture stays silent after a macOS update.
4.Confirm the cursor is in a text field
Place the caret where you want text before holding the shortcut. Voxt inserts into the focused field. If nothing is focused, rewrite mode can still show a result card instead of pasting.

After macOS updates, permissions sometimes reset—re-check both toggles.
Corporate MDM profiles can block Accessibility; ask IT if the toggle is locked.
App Branch uses the frontmost app (and URL when available) only to pick enhancement rules—not to upload your screen.
